Team,

Donald Trump is many things: a bully, a narcissist, a conspiracy theorist, and a manipulator.

But one thing he is not is a leader. Not a good leader, that is.

From Trump’s failed COVID-19 response to his tactless handling of the police brutality protests, Trump has failed to lead with compassion, integrity, and rationality.

So great is Trump’s threat to the American people that many Republicans and former military leaders have spoken out against him, including James Mattis, Colin Powell, Sen. Mitt Romney, and Sen. Lisa Murkowski. Clearly, this is not a Republican-Democrat issue. This is an American issue.

With the future of our democracy at stake in November, it’s more important than ever that we elect leaders who will unite the country, not divide it. We need leaders who have the courage to speak truth to power and to stand up for what’s right. And we need leaders who will safeguard the health, safety, and civil rights of the American people.

I’m running for the U.S. Senate to be that leader for my fellow Georgians. And though the road to November will be challenging, I know that with your support, we can create real change for Georgia.
