My colleague, United State Senator Alex Padilla, was just violently thrown to the ground and handcuffed for simply asking questions at a Department of Homeland Security press conference in Los Angeles.

The Trump administration is completely out of control. We need a countrywide response, and I’m asking everyone to join me by chipping in to support my continued organizing against Trump’s lawlessness.

It’s not just that Trump’s administration has pursued chaotic and heartless immigration policies, using ICE as a secret police to crack down on immigrants and political enemies alike.

It’s also clear that when We the People exercise our first amendment rights to speak out and protest, this administration continually responds with force and violence.

Trump has already arrested a union leader, a mayor, a judge, and a member of the US House. He has threatened to arrest California Governor Gavin Newsom. And now his administration has wrongly put a US Senator in handcuffs. All officials from the only party that opposes Trump's inhumane agenda. This is the stuff of dictatorship.
