Dear Friend,

In honor of this year’s World Refugee Day, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the many thousands of caring individuals who have come together to welcome refugees from around the world into their local communities across America.

Your generosity and unwavering support have enabled USCRI to resettle 400,000 refugees since 1980 who were forced to flee their home countries due to genocide, invasion, and repressive regimes.

Thanks to your kindness, we have been able to assist survivors of the Rwandan massacre, Afghans persecuted by the Taliban, and Ukrainians whose villages were destroyed. Your steadfast support has made it possible for us to offer a helping hand to those in dire need.

While space does not permit us to thank everyone who has contributed to our work, we would like to highlight a few examples of the countless ways people have rallied to help those in need:
* An early innovator of sound systems from Connecticut made a bequest of over $1.7 million.
* A nurse practitioner in Maryland has been a dedicated supporter for over 30 years.
* A couple from Ohio, who initially donated rugs, winter clothes, and teapots, have since become regular donors at the $1,000 level.
* A retiree in North Carolina has donated materials to help refugees learn English and gardening tools to help them grow food.

Together with so many others from all corners of the country, you are an important member of this exceptional community of caring individuals. Your generosity makes our work possible and, more importantly, provides refugee families, unaccompanied children, and survivors of human trafficking with the support needed to rebuild their lives.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey!

With renewed gratitude for your continuing support,

Eskinder Negash
