Last night, we held an exciting nationwide call to share updates and next steps in our Fund Care Not Billionaires campaign.

With President Trump and Senate Republicans trying to pass their budget bill with over $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and other health programs by July 4th, we only have a few weeks left to make an impact and stop these cuts!

Here’s how YOU can take action:

On Tuesday, July 1st, communities will come together for a singular Day of Action to demand that Congress and the administration fund care, not billionaires, by pledging to defend Medicaid, Social Security, and federal health care workers.

We’re holding actions at district congressional offices across the country to call on each respective member of Congress to sign a “Fund Care Not Billionaires Pledge,” asking them to plainly state whether they will stand with their constituents or the billionaires.

As someone who lives in or near one of these Republican districts, you can play a crucial role right now.

We still need someone to host an event at a congressional district office near you. Will you step up and host an event at your legislator’s office on July 1st? We’ll send you all the details you need to host a successful event!

If you haven’t done this before, don’t worry. It’s easy to host an event, and we’ll be with you to support every step of the way, including an optional training call this week for hosts. What’s important is that we ensure your representative hears from their constituents, and you can help make that happen by being the host.
