Dear John,
The Virtual Science & Leadership Symposium showcased the extraordinary potential that unfolds when women choose to turn their lived experiences with heart disease into a force for change. Through in-depth sessions on the science of heart disease, Q&As with leading Mayo Clinic cardiologists, and intimate discussions on mental health and community support, participants were equipped and inspired to become trusted sources of support in their communities and to advocate for the heart health of all women.
This October, WomenHeart will host our next in-person Science & Leadership Symposium. A unique, multi-day training that equips women living with heart disease to become WomenHeart Champions. Participants will gain knowledge from leading cardiologists, build skills in patient support and health advocacy, and join a powerful national network of women working to improve heart health for all.
If you or someone you know is ready to lead the charge in women’s heart health, we invite you to save the date and stay tuned. Together, we are changing the story of heart disease one voice at a time.
