Dear Team,

We warned you this was coming—and now it's here. Tomorrow morning, the House Judiciary Committee will debate repealing the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, the only federal law protecting patients and providers from threats, harassment, and violence.

Without the FACE Act, there would be no federal consequences for violent extremists targeting people seeking and providing essential health care. Congress would be sending a dangerous message: that violence against patients and providers is acceptable.

Over the past few weeks, we've shared the stories of our clients—independent abortion providers and reproductive health clinics fighting on the frontlines. Repealing the FACE Act would leave them without federal protections. Since Roe was overturned, threats have skyrocketed: Nearly 300 death threats or threats of harm were reported just last year.

Please, demand your representative oppose repealing the FACE Act and protect the people risking everything for our rights.

We can't afford to stay silent. Thank you in advance for taking action now.

In solidarity,

Nancy Northup
