Thank you for all your resistance efforts this previous week. This is a big week with mass protests nationwide on June 14th! Join us in downtown Lexington!
 

No Kings Rally!

Trump wants a military parade for his birthday.
We'll respond with a peaceful rally in downtown Lexington! 

 
When: Saturday, June 14th, noon to 3 p.m.
Where: Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza (120 N. Limestone, Lexington)
Event Details:
- Drum circle
- 5-7 Invited speeches (4 minutes each)
- Open mic (1-2 minutes each)
- Sidewalk protesting (you're welcome to bring signs!)

    Join Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance for a protest at Mitch McConnell’s Local Office (771 Corporate Dr, Lexington, KY) from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. 

     
  • NATIONAL: RUSH HOUR PROTEST - JUNE 12TH
    Join Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance for a rush hour protest from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the intersection of Nicholasville Road and Reynolds Road. 

     
  • NATIONAL: NO KINGS RALLY! - JUNE 14TH
    Join us on Saturday, June 14th, noon to 3 p.m., for a rally and march to say, "No Kings Then! No Kings Now!" at Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza (120 N. Limestone, Lexington). RSVP & Details on Facebook and Mobilize
     
  • NATIONAL: CALL YOUR SENATORS ABOUT THE BUDGET RECONCILIATION BILL!
    Stop the cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and other essential programs and push back against the huge tax breaks for the wealthy. The budget reconciliation bill passed the House early in the morning on May 22nd by a slim margin 215-214. Now it goes to the Senate where we can urge our senators to reduce or remove its most harmful aspects. Call Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul! Click here for more details
     
  • NATIONAL: CALL YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
    Call your members of Congress and let them know how you feel about topics that most concern you. The Indivisible website's section Take Action Now and the 5 Calls website provide up-to-date talking points and information.

     
  • STATE: DONATE TO HELP STORM VICTIMS
    If you're interested in donating to help storm victims in Kentucky, you can contribute to the Team Kentucky Storm Relief Fund.
