10 Small Business Bills Passed the House Floor

This week, House Republicans codified another set of President Trump’s executive orders to protect American small businesses. Ten House Committee on Small Business bills passed the House floor, including my legislation, H.R. 1642, to help countless graduates translate their skills into the workforce by connecting them with the small businesses that need them most. As Chairman, I will continue the fight to promote small business growth as we usher in the Golden Age of Main Street America.

Currently, the rules around digital assets are confusing and inconsistent. Under existing law, developers, investors, and businesses don't know which agency is in charge or which rules apply. We have created holidays for many groups, but fail to adequately celebrate the patriots who made our freedoms possible. I introduced a resolution to designate July as 'American Patriotism Month' to reflect on the history of our great country and honor the men and women who carried out the heroic acts that shaped the land we love and call home. Unlocking Investment Research for Main Street Businesses

Access to capital remains a top issue for small businesses across America. Research reports are critical tools that help companies attract investors and improve transparency in the market, but many small and mid-sized businesses are excluded from research coverage during the public offering process. We must level the playing field to ensure all businesses can compete. I introduced a bill to ensure investors have access to independent analysis, making the market more transparent, efficient, and prosperous for Main Street. Read more here.
