John,
Republicans are in damage control mode after moving too far, too fast with their budget that passed the House by a single vote.1
Thanks to our pressure, Republican Senators are looking to reject the House-passed bill in favor of their own proposals.2 While we are pushing to protect and strengthen basic needs programs, some senators are seeking even deeper cuts to basic needs programs in order to fuel their massive tax handouts to millionaires and billionaires.
With the Senate planning to vote on their bill before the 4th of July recess, we need your support to keep the pressure on. Rush a donation today to fight back against the Republican budget that steals from vulnerable people to pay for more tax cuts for the rich.

1 After Muscling Their Bill Through the House, Some Republicans Have Regrets
2 Problems proliferate in Senate for Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’
-- DEBORAH'S EMAIL --
John,
“Well, we’re all going to die.”
That was Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) at a recent town hall, flippantly responding to constituents’ concerns about Republicans’ mass cuts to Medicaid.1
Now, two new reports shed even more light on the full impact of these cuts.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office confirms that 16 million more people will be uninsured as a result of the House-passed budget bill.2
And, new research from the University of Pennsylvania and the Yale School of Public Health show that more than 50,000 people will die each year from these Republican attacks on Medicaid, SNAP, and the Affordable Care Act:3
We’re demanding the U.S. Senate reject the House-passed big brutal budget, which steals from low-income communities to pay for tax breaks for billionaires and to fund Trump’s mass deportation scheme.
Rush a donation today to keep the pressure on Congress to reject the GOP budget.

Our pressure is having an impact with some senators raising concerns about cuts to SNAP and Medicaid as the Senate looks to make changes to the House-passed package.4 We are educating Senate offices about what’s at stake, with some representatives even admitting that they didn’t know the full extent of what they were voting for.5 And some senators are worried about the price tag of the bill, which is driven by trillions of dollars in tax handouts to the wealthy:6
Let’s keep up the pressure on Congress to stop its attacks on vital programs and vulnerable communities.
