Friend,
Free Press is committed to defending free speech against the constant assault from this authoritarian White House and its allies in media and tech.
The stakes are too high for us to stand alone — will you add your name and your voice to our cause today?
“I pledge to expose attacks on free expression and basic rights from those in power. I pledge to defend our freedom to think, speak, connect and access information without fear of retaliation. For the sake of our democracy, I will challenge authoritarian tactics designed to silence dissent and stand in solidarity with communities under attack.”

Friend,
Over the past few weeks, Free Press held a series of events and actions surrounding the future of freedom in the United States. We’ve heard from the likes of FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez, U.S. Representative Raul Ruiz, journalism luminaries and civil-rights advocates. All of these individuals have courageously spoken out about the rise of authoritarianism in the United States, many of them at great personal risk.
This is the reality of confronting a lawless government: The vindictive, punishing nature of the Trump regime is the very reason we must speak out against it. We are living in an age of retaliation, but we cannot allow the ruling class to intimidate us.
Every person we add to our coalition makes it safer for the next. Your courage paves the way for more and more members of the public to join us in resisting the encroaching authoritarian menace.
Please join us in pledging to defend free speech and stand in solidarity with everyone under threat from this authoritarian regime.
