We have a really important fundraising deadline coming up at the end of
June. Unlike our other monthly milestones so far, this June deadline is
public facing, which means we’ll have to report for everyone to see
exactly how much money we’ve raised.

This is a make or break moment for our campaign.

Pundits, outside groups, and our opponents will all be combing through our
fundraising numbers to look for signs of weakness. We have to show them
that our grassroots movement is strong, and it’s not going anywhere.

Katie has been leading in the polls because Californians want a leader who
will deliver for families and work to bring costs down. But with 10+
declared candidates and a majority of voters undecided, we can’t take
anything for granted.

Posting a strong June fundraising number—especially from grassroots
donations—will send a message that our campaign has the momentum it takes
to win.

We reject donations from corporations, lobbyists, and Big Pharma, Big Oil,
and Big Bank CEOs, and our average donation is less than $30. We can’t do
this without you.
