FIRST: At Trump’s behest, House Republicans drafted up his “big, beautiful bill”–a piece of legislation that would make Trump’s 2017 tax breaks to his richest friends become permanent.

THEN: Despite protests from the American people and Democrats (remember–Kim fought this bill for 26 hours!), House Republicans passed their bill, using cuts to vital programs like Medicaid, SNAP and more to fund their massive tax breaks.

NOW: Senate Republicans want to take it one step further. Cutting Medicaid and kicking millions of Americans off their insurance wasn’t enough–they want to cut funding from Medicare, too!

Programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are lifelines to millions of Americans. Yet, Republicans don’t care one bit. They would rather see Medicare and Medicaid on the chopping block than upset their wealthy donors.

It’s outrageous. It’s despicable. And it’s downright disheartening to see Republicans' true colors.
