John, I’ll be blunt: Trump is the most corrupt president in American history.

Trump has demonstrated *time and time again* that he would prefer to be a king instead of a president.

He’s ignored ethics and laws like the Emoluments Clauses of the Constitution that ensure the president is accountable to the American people — and it’s costing Americans both money and safety.

Trump has made clear that his financial and personal interests come first, and the American people’s concerns come second.

Just look at what he’s been spending his time and resources on:

* Trying to arrange a deal with Saudi-backed LIV Golf, which just so happens to hold events at his businesses.
* Hosting a dinner for told holders of his memecoin that, according to recent estimates, has made the Trump family and its partners $320 million in trading fees.
* Arranging a $440 million gift from Qatar, to replace Air Force One, while working on a development that involves Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund.

The president’s job is to protect the general welfare of the American public, but Trump clearly has competing interests at play. America’s founders tried to prevent this type of scenario by including anti-corruption provisions in the Constitution — but Trump doesn’t seem to care.

The American people deserve better, John.
