- In 2024, Democrat Josh Stein won the NC governor’s race with a resounding 55% of the vote.
- Stein even outperformed Trump's 51% margin despite a tough national environment for Democrats.
- Only 26% of North Carolinians have favorable views of Thom Tillis.
