Hope we got your attention there.

Trump just sent a request to Congress to immediately zero out funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. That means PBS and NPR lose out on hundreds of millions of dollars in funding that they are counting on and have already budgeted for.

If the GOP follows along and passes these cuts into law it will be devastating. We’ll see kids lose out on some of the most beloved and effective educational programming in the entire country. Local radio stations will be forced to make cuts and could close. More essential pillars of our country will be lost to Trump.

This is not about efficiency or cutting costs. It’s about silencing media they don’t like in the most cruel way possible.

Mark Kelly is working hard against the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” passed by the House, and stopping Trump’s proposed budget from becoming law. And if he’s going to do all that and save Big Bird, he’s going to need your help.
