Let's be real. Donald Trump thinks he wears a crown. (He even posted a picture of himself depicted as a king with the caption "Long Live the King.") [1] Trump and his enablers are putting forward proposal after proposal that break down democracy to grab power for themselves and make their rich friends richer. Their budget bill gives even more tax cuts to billionaires while hard working families like yours and mine struggle with grocery prices, the cost of health care, child care, and more.

But in America, we don't do “kings.” We the moms and we the people are outraged, angry, and not giving up. And we are coming together to say: NO KINGS.

What's happening? On June 14th, Trump is throwing himself the most un-American birthday party, complete with a military parade. In stark contrast, we the people are pushing back. Incredibly, on that same day, more than 1,400 actions to help protect democracy are taking place across the country in direct response to Trump's authoritarian overreach and the billionaire-backed agenda defying our courts, disappearing our neighbors, gutting our federal resources, and threatening our livelihoods. We're coming together to say: NO KINGS!

Historians are telling us that we may be on the fast track to an authoritarian regime, but history also tells us that the power of people is our greatest tool to fight back. The more of us that show up on Saturday, June 14th, the more momentum and pressure we build. Together, we can be the resistance that will move us to a brighter future for all of us.

This is an all-hands-on-deck moment to stand in strong opposition to Trump and his enablers’ power grabs and overreach. It’s time that the people remind him that in the United States we have NO KINGS. We the people will not stand by as he, his cronies, and the Republicans in Congress dismantle essential services for families, illegally fire hundreds of thousands of federal workers, disappear and kidnap our hardworking neighbors, and gut Social Security, Medicaid, education, veterans healthcare, and other essential services for hardworking families while they give massive tax breaks to their billionaire buddies.

Enough with the illegal power grabs that tear apart our communities and further enrich the already ultra-wealthy. Enough with the king cosplay. Together we are united. And in America, we have NO KINGS.
