Democrat,
We’re in the final stretch until Primary Day, but no need to wait until Tuesday to vote! Early in-person voting is open through Sunday. You always hear people say “the stakes are higher than ever,” but right now the country is looking to New Jersey to kick off the Blue Wave and prove that Democrats are ready to fight back. This election is not just another race, but rather one of our first opportunities to defend the values we believe in and ensure that New Jersey continues to be a beacon of progress in the face of federal overreach and incompetence. With only 4 days until Election Day, every vote counts.
Make sure you have a plan to vote.

This week, we’re tackling Trump’s latest MAGA loyalty test for government jobs, debunking his latest lies at a town hall with Jack Ciattarelli, and showing how New Jersey is fighting back against cuts that undermine working families.
— Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr.

Donald Trump continues to place loyalty to himself above all else. The latest example? New guidelines from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management require government job applicants to answer four 200-word essays to prove their ideological alignment with Trump’s policies. One of those essays even asks applicants to explain which of Trump’s orders had a “significant” impact on their lives. This is not about qualifications or merit, it’s about making sure only the most devout Trump supporters are hired. This is just another glaring example of Trump’s hypocrisy, claiming to push for a meritocracy and qualifications, all while sidelining those very principles in favor of loyalty to him and consolidating power.

Claim:
“New Jersey’s economy will wither and die, and you’ll be living in a nightmare of chaos and crime, and you sort of have that to a certain extent now. But it’s going to be changed, and it’s going to be changed fast with Jack.” - Donald Trump at a tele-town on Monday.
The Truth:
This is pure fiction. The reality is that under Trump’s presidency the economy has suffered and Americans are seeing past Republican lies. Workers have been left behind, and New Jersey’s communities are being left to pick up the pieces.
Jack Ciattarelli? He’s just more of the same, and even went so far as to promise that his Attorney General will never sue the White House. Showcasing the lack of backbone and blind loyalty Republicans are known for, Ciattarelli would push us backward, not forward.
Impact on New Jersey:
Donald Trump is all in on Jack Ciattarelli because he knows Jack will do anything he asks of him. New Jersey’s future is on the line, and with Ciattarelli pushing for Trump’s destructive policies in NJ, we need to fight harder than ever to protect our state’s progress. This election is about making sure we don’t fall backward.

Murphy Fights Back: Trump’s War on the Vulnerable
Governor Phil Murphy is fighting back against Donald Trump’s latest funding cuts that are harming our state government’s ability to function. Trump is pulling funding that was allocated for modernizing our state unemployment systems. He claims he’s for “government efficiency” but without this funding for new technology, processing will be LESS efficient. This action undermines workers, especially as our economy struggles as a result of Trump’s chaotic policies.
Electing a Democratic governor is crucial. Someone who will fight for workers’ rights and stand firm against these harmful cuts, not a Republican who will just roll over and let the federal government continue its assault on New Jersey families.
