Transportation improvement planning in Kingston focus of June 11 community meeting
Have ideas or questions about transportation improvements in the greater Kingston area? Join the next Kingston Community Advisory Council meeting June 11 to hear from transportation planners Melissa Mohr and David Forte with the Kitsap County Department of Public Works. The meeting takes place 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Village Green Community Center, located at 26159 Dulay Road NE [ [link removed] ].
Information will be presented about scheduled road improvement projects in the region and how future projects are prioritized through Kitsap County's Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a six-year plan that evaluates and ranks transportation projects using criteria such as safety, capacity and available funding.

The meeting is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and participate. There will be time for questions and public input.
The KCAC meeting will also feature committee reports, updates on community events and activities, and opportunities for public comment.
