On Wednesday, I took to the House floor on behalf of the thousands of Southwest Ohioans who rely on Medicaid and food assistance to take care of themselves and their families.

One constituent is a single mother who moved to Cincinnati to escape domestic violence. She relies on Medicaid and SNAP to help care for her disabled daughter.

Another is a 62-year old woman with a fixed income. SNAP is the only way she is able to have enough food.

Trump and Congressional Republicans’ disastrous bill cuts over $300 million from food assistance and over $1 trillion from healthcare.

All to pay for tax cuts for the super-wealthy and big corporations.

I'm working every day to combat this chaos and to hold Congressional Republicans accountable. If you’re as outraged as I am about this, can you rush a donation to help me fight back against this cruelty?
