Friend, this is a huge development in my home state.

A new poll was recently released showing that a Republican - me - would be just ONE POINT behind Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul in a hypothetical matchup for Governor of New York!

With 15% of voters still undecided, this race is wide open. Let me be blunt, we are closer now to a Republican winning a statewide election in New York than we have been for over 20 years.

We can put a Republican governor in Albany but we need to lay the groundwork right now.

Friend, if we can flip the Empire State next year and transform New York into a swing state it would completely change our electoral map and strengthen our ability to deliver an America First agenda for all Americans.

The transformation of states like Florida and Ohio into MAGA strongholds paved the way for our victory last year. New York is primed to become our nation’s next battleground and winning statewide elections here would solidify our ability to Make America Great Again at the state and federal level for years to come.

Decades of Democrat party control have led to the absolute degradation of New York.

New York is the hub of the world economy. It’s where Wall St meets Main St. For centuries it has been where families from across the nation and across the world have come to build the American dream for themselves and future generations.

Yet under the failed leadership of Eliot Spitzer, Andrew Cuomo, and now Kathy Hochul New York has become a cautionary tale.

Their economic policies have crushed entrepreneurship and small businesses, their soft-on-crime policies and a refusal to take action on the illegal immigrant crisis have seen a rise of violent crime on our streets, and their horrific handling of COVID led to thousands of deaths that were covered up by the Cuomo-Hochul administration.

The results are devastating. Businesses are shuttering, families are fleeing to safer states, young people are leaving en masse due to lack of opportunities as well as the rising cost of living, and there has been no accountability for the Nursing Home Scandal.

The situation is dire and Kathy Hochul, currently the worst governor in America, has no plan to repair the damage her party has done.

It has gotten so BAD for the current regime that her own Lieutenant Governor, that she hand picked herself, is now primarying her:

It is evident that Hochul has lost support not just from Republicans and Independents, but now Democrats as well.

But changing one Democrat for another with the same failed policies would be like putting a new paint job on a broken down car, it would not solve any of the problems.

It doesn’t have to be this way and New Yorkers know it. It’s time for a real change.

Friend, New York deserves better leadership and the United States deserves to have one of its largest states be governed with competence that will help usher in the next age of American greatness rather than undermine it.

I am committed to continue fighting tirelessly to ensure that we elect leadership that champions freedom, security, and prosperity for every American family, especially my fellow New Yorkers who have been long neglected by the Democrat Party.
