Dear A.,

In an operation in southern Gaza last night, the IDF

recovered the bodies of 70-year-old Judy Weinstein-Haggai and her husband, 72-year-old Gadi Haggai, both Israeli-Americans who were murdered on October 7 and taken into Gaza.

The couple was murdered on their morning walk near Kibbutz Nir Oz, and were previously confirmed as deceased by the IDF in December 2023. They are survived by four children and seven grandchildren.

Their bodies were held in Gaza by Hamas, which continues to reject the U.S. hostage-ceasefire proposal that has been accepted by Israel.

Following the operation, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who is leading the hostage-ceasefire negotiations, said he's "grateful for the Israeli soldiers who brought home the remains of Judy Weinstein and Gad Haggai so that they may now rest in peace. Hamas must accept the ceasefire proposal put forward so that the remaining living hostages can return to their loved ones and the remains of those killed can come home to their families."

Prime Minister Netanyahu added that Israel "will not rest until we bring all of our hostages home — both the living and the dead."

There are now 56 hostages remaining in Gaza, including the bodies of two additional Americans. 20 of the hostages are believed to still be alive.

AIPAC mourns with Gadi and Judy's family and reaffirms our relentless commitment to demanding Hamas free all 56 hostages now.

The United States must continue to stand with Israel and increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Turkey and Iran to accept the U.S. proposal and release hostages.

sanctioned four International Criminal Court judges for their involvement in the baseless and illegitimate case against Israel's leaders on false charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

"Today, the United States is sanctioning four individuals, currently serving as judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC). We do not take this step lightly," the State Department said in a

statement .

"The ICC's baseless and politicized targeting of America and our close ally Israel must end. Today, I have sanctioned four ICC judges for infringing on U.S. and Israeli sovereignty – two who authorized the ICC’s baseless investigation into U.S. personnel in Afghanistan and two who authorized the ICC’s illegitimate arrest warrants targeting Israeli PM Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. We call on our allies to stand with us against this disgraceful attack," Secretary of State Rubio

AIPAC thanks the Trump administration for taking this important step to push back against the ICC's actions which threaten both Americans and Israelis.

Hezbollah is a global terrorist organization that has killed hundreds of Americans.

The Iran-backed terror army deliberately builds and operates drone manufacturing sites beneath civilian areas in Lebanon.

92 humanitarian aid trucks carrying flour and food into Gaza, for a total 1,289 trucks since aid deliveries resumed on May 19.

Highlighting the threat posed to Hamas by the new humanitarian aid mechanism, Israel released a

recorded phone call today in which a Gaza resident says, "The people who fired [on Gazans seeking aid] were Hamas terrorists. They don’t want the people to receive aid, they want to foil the plan so that the aid will go to them, allowing them to steal it. They've gone completely bankrupt."

Major IAEA resolution expected on Iran

For the first time in 20 years, the U.S. and European allies will advance a resolution at a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that will find Iran in non-compliance with its nuclear safeguards obligations.

The news comes as the United States continues to engage in nuclear negotiations with the Iranian regime.

According to
[link removed]
reports , the resolution says, "Iran’s many failures to uphold its obligations since 2019 to provide the Agency with full and timely cooperation regarding undeclared nuclear material and activities at multiple undeclared locations in Iran… constitutes non-compliance with its obligations under its Safeguards Agreement."

It adds that the IAEA’s "inability … to provide assurance that Iran’s nuclear program is exclusively peaceful gives rise to questions that are within the competence of the United Nations Security Council, as the organ bearing the main responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security."
