This landmark case could decide the future of trans rights.

"No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us."
– Marsha P. Johnson

ACLU Supporter, Pride has always been about protest – and as attacks on trans rights reach a fever pitch, we're doubling down on that commitment.

This month, we're waiting for the Supreme Court to rule on our landmark case U.S. v. Skrmetti – a case that could decide the future of trans rights. If we win, we'd make major progress towards protecting trans kids across the country and ensuring that every one of us can access the medical care we need.

This Pride month, as we await this decision, join us in keeping Pride a protest. Add your name to protect trans freedom. <[link removed]>

This case centers on a Tennessee law banning gender-affirming medical care for transgender people under 18. Politicians are targeting the most vulnerable among us – trans kids and their families – in an extreme attempt to restrict our bodily autonomy and strip us of our basic right to needed health care.

If the Supreme Court lets this ban stand, trans kids and their families will suffer – and politicians will take this as a green light to pass even more restrictions on our right to make our own medical decisions. This would open the door to even more efforts to control our bodies, our families, and our lives.

In the words of Marsha P. Johnson – a trailblazer for the trans community and lifelong activist for LGBTQ rights – there's "no pride for some of us without liberation for all of us."

Liberation for all of us is possible – but we need your help. Join us in defending trans youth and rejecting these attacks on our fundamental rights. <[link removed]>

We'll keep in touch throughout Pride month – and beyond – with ways to get involved in the fight for trans liberation.

Thanks for being in this fight,
