Dear Friend,

Show up for tenants and affordable housing in the DC budget! Mayor Bowser is pushing her anti-tenant legislation she already introduced in the RENTAL Act in the Budget Support Act. Even though this legislation has no budget impact. The Council should prioritize creating a budget that meets the housing needs of DC residents - not fast-tracking anti-renter legislation. 

Let's tell the Council: remove the anti-renter RENTAL Act from the budget and fund programs like TOPA that are proven to preserve affordability. Will you sign up to testify on June 9th?

The Council needs to hear from us more that they cannot bend to the Mayor's wish to sell out renters in favor of corporate interests. Register to testify today.
