‌John,

Today, on World Environment Day, I started my morning with a list of small actions we can all take to protect the planet we share. Here's what I came up with:

* Shop sustainably.
* Conserve energy.
* Support local growers.

And — and I cannot overstate this enough — stand up to the Trump administration, because right now they are undertaking a monumental attack on our environment.

What we’re seeing from the Trump administration is anything but protection. They’ve slashed tax credits for electric vehicles, appointed cabinet members with deep ties to Big Oil, and rolled back EPA policies that are essential to clean air, clean water, and a livable future.

World Environment Day should be a moment of celebration, but this year, it must also be a call to action. This day is a commitment to our planet — a pledge to do the hard work of environmental protection, even when our government is working against us.

Today, I’m asking you to make your commitment clear. Sign our petition and pledge to stand up for the environment in the face of this assault. >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
