We can’t believe we’re saying this, John, but we agree with Elon Musk on something — but guess what, at the end of the day, he’s STILL wrong.

He just called Donald Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” a “disgusting abomination.”

He’s right that this egregious spending bill is a disaster. But he’s wrong about why.

He thinks there aren’t enough cuts to the programs Americans rely on to justify their billionaire tax breaks.

Here’s why this bill is so dangerous for the rest of us: It would gut Medicaid, slash food assistance, strip funding from Planned Parenthood, hand billions in tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy, and push through one of the most dangerous climate rollbacks in history. We’re talking about billions in gutted clean energy funds and loosened pollution rules that would hit frontline communities the hardest.

You’d think Trump and his pals would read the room and stop ramming this bill through Congress, but they couldn’t care less. It just passed the House by a single vote, and now it’s headed to the Senate. We need to act quickly and make our voices heard to stop it in its tracks.
