At a candidate forum last night, the top two Republicans running for
California governor made clear that they 100% stand behind Donald Trump’s
harmful economic agenda.

They both defended Trump’s tariff chaos—with one of them even saying that
people need to “just wait and see what happens.”

California families can’t afford to wait and see. We need leaders at all
levels of government to work urgently to bring costs down. Instead,
Trump’s tariffs move us in exactly the wrong direction.

Californians deserve a governor who is clear-eyed about the harm Trump is
doing to families’ financial stability and unequivocal about calling it
out.

With nearly
half of California voters saying they would consider voting for a
Republican to be governor, we can’t take anything for granted. [ [link removed] ]Can you
