Pride Month is a time to celebrate the courage and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community — and to recommit to the fight for full equality under the law.

Across the country, extremist lawmakers are targeting LGBTQ+ people with dangerous, discriminatory legislation. In the face of this cruelty, we must do more than speak out — we must act.

That’s why I proudly support the Equality Act.

As Vice Chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus, I’m fighting to:

✅ Protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination in housing, jobs, and education

✅ Ensure inclusive access to health care

✅ Defend LGBTQ+ youth — especially transgender youth — from hate and harm

✅ Codify protections so that no future president can roll them back

The Equality Act would finally provide explicit federal protections for LGBTQ+ Americans — closing the gaps that leave millions vulnerable to discrimination.

But MAGA extremists in Congress are doing everything they can to block it.
