John, at a recent town hall, one of Iowa Senator Joni Ernst’s constituents pointed out that the dangerous cuts to Medicaid and SNAP in the GOP budget will put lives at risk. But shockingly, she had just one response:

“Well, we are all going to die.”

This is callous and outrageous. Our Senators are supposed to do everything they can to protect us — not stand idly by.

But Republicans would rather kowtow to Trump than take a stand for their constituents and do what’s right.
