By 2050, the number of people age 65 and older living with Alzheimer's disease is projected to reach 13 million. And unless we find a cure, chances are one of these individuals will be someone you love. But that doesn't have to be our future.
This month is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, a time when we come together to raise awareness of this devastating disease and offer care and support to those impacted by Alzheimer's and all other dementia. In recognition of this special month, you have the opportunity to multiply your impact 2X with a gift to our Double Your Impact Match Challenge. Your support can go TWICE as far to advance research and help provide care and support to those who count on it most, but only if we hear from you before the deadline on June 9.
Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month is 30 days dedicated to communicating the facts about Alzheimer's to help reduce the stigma surrounding this disease. Your support will help the Association provide educational resources and informational materials so that more people recognize the signs and symptoms and seek a diagnosis early.
Your first gift will also help support new and innovative online care and support tools like ALZ Talks, our free webinar series that provides education, information, news and resources on a variety of brain health, dementia and caregiving topics.
There's no time to waste. The strong interest you've taken in our work leads me to believe Alzheimer's has touched your life in some way. We need more people like you who understand the devastating effects of this disease and know the urgency of this fight. I'm looking to you to join our community of donors in a BIG way. Our Double Your Impact Match Challenge gives you the chance to do just that and help further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
