Yesterday, Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball – a top political forecaster – upgraded Iowa's Senate race from "Safe Republican" to "Likely Republican."

They cited both the fallout from Joni Ernst insulting Iowans – when she told folks concerned about Medicaid and SNAP cuts, "Well, we all are going to die" – and the announcement of a proven, credible challenger in J.D.
