And to be honest, John, Virginia Foxx’s mean streak goes far beyond her personal style. As Chair of the House Rules Committee, she’s been a staunch defender of Elon Musk’s DOGE and their attempts to dismantle our constitutional order, and she’s been nothing but a rubber stamp for Donald Trump’s far-right agenda.

Going back across her twenty-year career in Congress (and a decade in the State Senate before that), she’s consistently voted for outright cruelty – whether that’s being one of only eleven members of the House to reject Hurricane Katrina aid, voting to deny health insurance to children, or claiming that Matthew Shepard’s homophobic murder was a hoax.

It makes my blood boil, and that’s why I’m running against her. Frankly, the only person in Washington who’s a bigger bully than Virginia Foxx is her best friend, Donald Trump. It’s a small wonder that those two get along like a house on fire.

John, we have the opportunity to stand up to one of Washington’s biggest bullies and send Virginia Foxx packing next year – but we can only do it with your support. This is a tough, red district and we need to start laying the groundwork for victory now.
