It’s been another busy few weeks since our last Congressional update. Here’s what Jared has been up to in Congress to fight for you:

BUDGET VOTE:

Jared voted against the GOP’s reckless budget proposal that would slash health care for millions of families to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires — while adding over $3 trillion to the national debt.

AIRPORT UPGRADES:

Jared successfully pushed the Trump Administration to release $1.6 million in funding for the Auburn-Lewiston Airport — just in time to meet critical deadlines and move forward with key upgrades to the airport, including a new hangar.

NATIONAL PARKS:

Jared introduced a new bill to protect our national parks, like Maine’s own Acadia National Park, from staff cuts and ensure they remain safe and accessible to all. His legislation would reinstate employees who were fired during the Trump Administration’s mass layoffs earlier this year.

CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCEMENT:

Jared has officially launched his re-election campaign for Maine’s Second District. With a proven record of fighting for Maine families, voters now face a clear choice between Jared’s leadership and the extremism and division of former Governor Paul LePage.
