Marina Rosenberg Shares Antisemitism Data and Trends During Congressional Hearing


Marina Rosenberg, SVP for International Affairs,

testified in front of the Congressional Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission on the ongoing threat of global antisemitism. Marina&rsquo;s testimony included detailed data and analysis about the levels of antisemitic incidents and attitudes around the world, as well as several steps international governments and others can take to combat the threat and ensure Jewish individuals and institutions are better protected.

J7 Meets in Berlin; Issues Annual Report on Antisemitic Trends
The J7 Task Force on Antisemitism, which represents the seven largest Diaspora Jewish communities, was hosted in Berlin by the Central Council for Germany Jewry to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe. The Task Force held important discussions on issues related to antisemitism, Holocaust memorialization and education. The group also had a series of high-level meetings with German officials, including President Steinmeier, as well as ceremonial visits to the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and the Berlin Memorial to Six Million Jews.

J7 Statement on Antisemitic DC Attack
Following the

heinous murder of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim outside the Jewish Museum in DC, the J7 Task Force on Antisemitism

issued a statement saying the attack is &ldquo;yet another wake-up call that governments, law enforcement and societies need to take language and threats directed against Jews seriously and ensure Jewish communities worldwide have the security they need.&rdquo;

Israel and the Middle East


ADL welcomed the release of American-Israeli Edan Alexander who was held captive in Gaza for 584 days, and called for the immediate release of the remaining 58 hostages in Gaza.

In Berlin, ADL brought together extremism analysts and Jewish community professionals from across Western Europe and the US to discuss anti-Zionist extremists and how to cooperate against them.The group committed to regular consultations, sharing of research and coordinating advocacy campaigns against anti-Zionist extremist organizations.

Latin America


In response to recent anti-Israel statements made by Chilean President Boric and growing rumors about a possible rupture in diplomatic relations between Chile and Israel, ADL reached out to the Chilean government and other stakeholders to raise concerns how these actions could foster antisemitism and lead to an increased vulnerability of the Chilean Jewish community.


ADL's Latin America team hosted a Facilitation Fundamentals in Practice training session in Panama for ADL&rsquo;s Words to Actions facilitators across Latin America. The training, which had participants from 8 cities and 5 countries, offered an in-depth understanding of ADL&rsquo;s work, its facilitation model, and explored its educational approach to antisemitism.


Over 150 12th-grade students from ORT schools took part in ADL&rsquo;s Words to Action workshops held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
