John, remember when I said our democracy was on the line? This is what I meant: A Republican member of Congress is now claiming that Donald Trump has enough support to run for a third term — and says he's working on a constitutional amendment to make it happen. No one who respects the Constitution, our democracy, or the peaceful transfer of power should be entertaining this. The presidency is not a throne, but the MAGA movement has made it clear they’ll tear up the Constitution if that’s what it takes to keep Donald Trump in power.
