Reckless and mean. There’s really no other way to describe the cuts that Republicans in Congress want to make to Medicaid health insurance and SNAP food benefits.

Their cuts threaten the health care of over a million Oregonians.

Their cuts would rip away care for our loved ones with disabilities, older adults, and the youngest Oregonians.

They would take food off the tables of our most vulnerable neighbors and families who need help paying for groceries.

And why? All to hand that money over to the richest Americans. Will you stand with me and send a message to Congress to demand they protect Medicaid and SNAP?
