Roadway Preservation Work on Routes 2 and 4 [ [link removed] ] 06/04/2025 10:53 AM EDT
ANDROSCOGGIN, FRANKLIN, & SOMERSET COUNTIES - The Maine Department of Transportation will be doing roadway preservation work on Routes 2 and 4. Work on Route 2 begins 0.40 miles west of the Skowhegan/Norridgewock town line and extends west for 2.39 miles. Work on Route 4 begins in Jay at the intersection of Routes 2 and 4, and extends south 5.84 miles. There is also work scheduled on Route 4 beginning in Livermore at Church Street and extending south 9.77 miles. Work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 5th and be completed by Monday, June 16th. Drivers may encounter a single-lane, alternating traffic pattern through project locations. These alternating lanes will be directed by flaggers. The contractor on this project is AnnSeal of Johnson City, NY.
