Taxpayer,
Each week, 300 beagle puppies were poisoned in a Chinese lab—all paid for by
you.
White Coat Waste exposed it. Now, we’ve ENDED it.
“China-led drug tests on hundreds of beagle puppies won’t be conducted anymore
on the US taxpayers’ dime.”

This win comes just days after you helped us:
✅ Shut down the USDA’s bird flu gain-of-function lab
✅ End the Pentagon’s cat electro-shock tests
✅ Get the Navy to ban all dog and cat testing
No other animal protection group worked with us on this campaign.
And no legacy organization has shut down a government dog lab in nearly 20
years—because they’ve accepted losing as the norm.
They throw red paint. We cut red tape.
They chase Hollywood celebrities. We end experiments.
This is how you + WCW are ending the culture of losing—and winning for animals.
Stop the Money. Stop the Madness!

VICTORY: White Coat Waste Cuts NIH-DOD Contract for Chinese Lab’s Tests on 300
“Cute” Beagles Per Week
* Following a White Coat Waste (WCW) investigation and campaign, the Trump
Administration has cut a contract for cruel experimental drug tests on 300
beagles a week in a Chinese lab funded by the National Institutes of Health
(NIH) and Department of Defense (DOD).
* The decision came just days after WCW campaigns shut down the DOD’s cat tests
and the NIH’s last in-house dog lab, prompting the U.S. Navy to ban all dog
and cat experiments.
* The victory follows pressure from Elon Musk, Laura Loomer, DOGE Senate Caucus
Chair Joni Ernst, and WCWs “strange bedfellows” coalition for pets that
united MAGA leaders, Rand Paul libertarians, and liberal icons such as a Ben
& Jerry’s co-founder.
* WCW’s top priority for Trump’s first 100 days was defunding dog and cat labs.
* WCW is the only animal protection organization to shut down federal dog labs
in nearly 20 years.
Following White Coat Waste investigations
[[link removed]] , lobbying, and grassroots campaigning
[[link removed]] , the Trump Administration has confirmed that it is cutting a contract for
wasteful and cruel experimental drug tests on 300 beagle puppies a week in China
funded by the NIH and DOD.
[[link removed]]
The move comes just days after the DOD canceled cruel cat
[[link removed]] constipation tests and the U.S. Navy banned all dog and cat testing following WCW campaigns.

WCW first obtained never-before-seen government documents
[[link removed]] through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). And we exposed it to the New
York Post and the national media:
[[link removed]]
Just 8 months old, puppies were force-fed experimental drugs through tubes
jammed down their throats, then restrained for hours.
The NIH-DOD contract targeted 300 beagles per week … for 91 weeks of torture.
Why beagles? In their own words: “ Beagle dog is docile, cute and easy to domesticate, so it has been the best choice .”
WCW started the lobbying and advocacy campaign to end Pentagon pet abuse:
* WCW followed the money trail and dropped a bombshell i nvestigation
[[link removed]] .
* WCW exposés sparked widespread media
[[link removed]] coverage.
* WCW passed bipartisan House legislation
[[link removed]] —the first-ever vote to defund
[[link removed]] the Pentagon’s pet abuse.
* WCW united Elon Musk [[link removed]] , Laura Loomer
[[link removed]] , DOGE Senate Caucus Chair Joni Ernst, and a progressive Ben & Jerry’s
founder.
* WCW rallied thousands of grassroots supporters to join the fight—donating, signing
petitions, and demanding action.
The DOD’s decision also follows viral advocacy in support of WCW’s campaign by Laura Loomer [[link removed]] and Elon Musk , the latter of whom posted [[link removed]] , “Will ask @DOGE [[link removed]] to put an end to animal cruelty.”
[[link removed]]
WCW built a “strange bedfellows” coalition for pets. We united these MAGA leaders with liberal icons such as Ben Cohen
[[link removed]] , the legendary Ben & Jerry’s co-founder.

Now, thanks to leadership from NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya, Defense Secretary
Pete Hegseth, and President Trump, WCW has kicked this canine cruelty in China
to the doghouse of history.
Our #1 priority for Trump’s first 100 days
[[link removed]] was defunding dog and cat testing.
WCW’s latest win is great news for taxpayers and pet owners as it sends a
message to big-spending animal abusers across the federal government: Stop the Money. Stop the Madness!
