I have some news to share about our movement’s efforts. Earlier this quarter, I reached out because I was overwhelmed by the levels of support I was receiving from people like you.

You put a great deal of trust in me to lead in this moment, and I promised that we’d put our resources and energy into work that made a difference right now. A lot of you gave your input on how we can best stop the billionaire takeover of government and preserve democracy.

We took that feedback, and my team and I worked behind the scenes for hours on end to identify where we could make strategic investments.

History tells us that mass mobilization beats a would-be autocrat. That’s why I’ve been traveling to red states and districts these past few months, but that was just the start.

Mobilization needs infrastructure — organizers, technology, logistics support. And right now, we don’t have enough of all of that. So I’m committed to helping us build it together.

The aim is simple: to support citizens and organizations who are mobilizing all over the country against Trump’s corruption. Not just talk but with actual resources. I’ve pledged to raise and invest at least $2 million into these efforts. I’ll put my weight and resources behind the organizers who know their communities and can help us grow this movement.

We’ve already made initial investments to support students in Georgia and Pennsylvania who are fighting against Trump’s assault on democracy. We’re organizing doctors and nurses in Michigan and Louisiana and Utah to stop Trump’s cuts to Medicaid.

Wherever there are Americans willing to stand up against this corruption, we want to be there with the resources they need to mobilize. The fight is now, and so the money we raise goes to the work today.

I know this might seem unconventional — but this moment requires leaders to take risks and try new tactics. The Washington playbook is broken. It helped get us into this mess and left Democrats without power in Congress.

We are in a crisis, and I believe that we urgently need a mass mobilization to preserve democracy. We all have a role to play, so thank you for being part of this team.
