John,
About two weeks ago, the House passed a bill with the largest cuts to Medicaid in history, and then they slunk away on recess as though we wouldn’t be paying attention.
Today, the House returns to office – and it’s our moment to show them that we’re paying attention – and we won’t stop fighting.
John xxxxxx, we’re flooding the inboxes of House members today as they return to session. Can you send a message to your Representative now?

We know that the majority of people in the U.S. do NOT support cuts to Medicaid – and Congressmembers are voting against the interests of their constituents. That’s why we’re ready to hold Congress accountable – and the more of us who take action now, the greater our impact.
No matter how your Representative voted, send them a message to let them know that we, their constituents, are watching and depending on them.
If your Representative voted against cuts to Medicaid, you’ll be able to thank them for voting for care. If your Representative voted for Medicaid cuts, you’ll be able to share your disappointment with them.

The fight to protect Medicaid is not over yet and the budget bill isn’t final. We need our Representatives to know exactly where we stand.
This is just one step down the path to protecting our care, and I know we can do it together. Thank you for your advocacy.
In solidarity,
Nicole Jorwic, Chief Program Officer
