It's another full week in Washington, DC, of nominations and work reducing our debt and fixing our tax policy.

Cindy and I were devastated at the news of the Antisemitic attack from the illegal immigrant in Boulder, CO, last weekend. We are grateful for the swift law enforcement response, and we anticipate the full weight of the law will come down on the illegal immigrant who carried out the attack. Antisemitism cannot continue in our nation or around the world. No one should be persecuted for their faith. Pray for the many people injured and for the hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza that they were peacefully marching to remember.

I spent Memorial Day week in Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel. We still have thousands of Americans serving in the Middle East as they work to defend American interests, maintain US defense relationships, and strive for a lasting peace in the region. I met with senior leaders from each country to learn more about the ongoing partnerships—new and old—in the region.

While I was in Israel, I connected with an old friend from Arkansas, Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. I also had a long meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benejamin Netanyahu. President Trump's leadership has fortified our already great relationship with many nations in the region, and he continues spreading the Abraham Accords from his first Administration, which I continue to work on with him and his team.

This week, the Senate will keep working on the House-passed tax reduction and spending reduction bill. I am still working to improve the bill and find additional spending cuts while making taxes more bearable for Oklahoma families. The Senate has multiple confirmations for President Trump's team, and we are still working on the stablecoin bill to allow more transactions of cryptocurrency while maintaining our paper and coin currency.

Oklahoma sports are having a big moment right now with the Thunder in the finals this week, the national champion OSU golf team, and the OU women’s softball team who had an incredible season. I am holding up my four fingers for the fourth man in the fire with the OU Women’s softball team, we are all proud of your season.

Keep praying for the nation!
