I'm proud that my One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which passed the House last week, included the greatest single investment in border security and national defense.

For immigration enforcement, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act:

• Finishes the Southern Border Wall 
  • Allocates $51.55 billion to complete the southern border wall, build river barriers, enhance border checkpoint facilities, and modernize border infrastructure with advanced technology
    
• Boosts Border Patrol Staffing and Resources 
  • Provides over $6.7 billion to recruit, train, and retain thousands of new Border Patrol agents, including funding for recruitment marketing, applicant vetting, training, and bonuses
    
• Enhances Immigration Enforcement and Removals 
  • Dedicates $14.5 billion to ICE for transporting and removing illegal aliens, $8 billion to hire additional ICE Enforcement and Removal Officers, and $45 billion to expand detention capacity
• Reimburses States Like Texas
  • Provides $12 billion to reimburse states like Texas for costs incurred during the previous administration's open-border crisis.

For our military, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act:

• Revitalizes U.S. Military Power 
  • Invests $33.7 billion to expand American shipbuilding, $7.2 billion to enhance air capabilities, and $12.9 billion to modernize the nuclear deterrent, including $4.5 billion to fast-track B-21 bomber production at Dyess Air Force Base
    
• Counters China
  • Allocates $11.1 billion specifically to strengthen U.S. military capabilities in the Indo-Pacific Command region, directly targeting the growing threat from the Chinese military
    
• Invests in Equipment
  • Provides $20.4 billion to restock and domestically produce munitions, ensuring the U.S. is no longer dependent on foreign nations for critical defense supplies
