AUGUSTA - The Maine Department of Transportation will be performing emergency repair work on the Bridge Street Bridge. Work will begin Wednesday, June 4th and is anticipated to be completed by Friday, June 6th. MaineDOT crews will be working to repair a loose bridge joint on the west side of the bridge. Work will begin at 6:00 a.m. and be finished on Friday at 6:00 a.m. Throughout this work, there will be a detour in effect that utilizes Memorial Bridge. This detour route will be signed. This work is being performed by MaineDOT Bureau of Maintenance and Operations. ###
