For more than 30 years, Vietnam Veterans have come together at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. during the last week of May.

They come to remember the comrades they served alongside who have since passed away. There are solemn ceremonies alongside efforts to bring awareness to Veterans suffering from things like PTSD and Agent Orange.

You don’t have to serve to understand that these Veterans deserve to be honored. They’ve earned that, and you’d think the President of the United States would understand.

But this year, those Vietnam Veterans will not gather at the Memorial. Why?

Trump’s birthday parade.

A man who never served, who sent someone else to Vietnam in his place, who’s attacked Gold Star Families, who called the fallen “Suckers” and “Losers,” who trampled their graves at Arlington National Cemetery.

He gets his parade, Veterans lose their health care, their housing and food assistance, even their memorials.

It’s absolutely disgusting, Rosie. And we’re not going to let him get away with it.

Chip in to VoteVets and help us inflict as much political damage to Trump and his lackeys as we possibly can. He has to pay a price for co-opting the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, and for dishonoring and abusing our Veterans like this.
