It’s easy to get overwhelmed with the seemingly endless, constant barrage of headlines from the other Washington, but I want to stop for a second and say thank you for all of the hard work you’ve put in – despite all the chaos.

Because of the generosity of supporters like you last week, we hit our fundraising goal! I’m feeling so grateful for everyone on our grassroots team for all that you’ve done to support our campaign.

Whether it’s continuing to stand up to GOP attacks on our values and critical programs like Medicaid, or sending support to Joanna Mendoza in AZ-06, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. But with you on our team, I’m confident that we can overcome any hurdle in our path.

Also, I want to wish you a happy Pride Season! In a time when LGBTQ+ people, especially queer and trans kids, are under attack from cynical Republican politicians in dozens of states and in Congress, it’s never been more important for our community to band together and continue fighting back.

Stay tuned for more updates from the team, but in the meantime: Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart! We are truly in this together, and for that, I am deeply honored and eternally grateful.
