John —

As our campaign for the 23rd District ramps up for the third and final time, I’m so humbled and honored to announce that we have the backing of the UAW, AFSCME, the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, the Michigan Professional Firefighters Union, SEIU, and other labor organizations of all types.

Having the support of these organizations means everything to me. My family’s labor background was one of the biggest reasons I ran for office in the first place. As the son and grandson of union autoworkers, I believe in the power of unions and the value of building power in our communities. Those quality union jobs made the American Dream a reality for my father and my grandfather before him.

I’m honored to continue the fight for workers in every way I can, and in my first two terms in office, I’ve built a record I’m proud of: fighting for prevailing wage, protecting retirements and healthcare for hardworking Michiganders, and maintaining collective bargaining rights. When I am reelected, I can promise you that advocating for workers will remain at the center of everything I do.

With these important endorsements, our campaign is building momentum, but we need your help to keep it going.

Can you chip in $10, $15, or whatever you can today to make sure I can keep fighting for workers across our Downriver community?

As always, thanks for all you do and stay safe,
