ICYMI - Republican Senator justifies Medicaid cuts saying "Well, we are all going to die" Yes, you read that right. Republican Senator Joni Ernst is using the most absurd reasoning to justify cruel cuts to Medicaid. In response to audience members letting her know that people will die from cuts to Medicaid, the Senator brushed it off and insulted everyone in the room with, “Well, we are all going to die.” Severe cuts will cost Georgians’ lives and drastically impact the well-being of folks in every corner of the country. From Governor Brian Kemp refusing to expand Medicaid and Trump loyalists all across the country, including Georgia Republicans, choosing to cut Medicaid, we’re in trouble. But here’s the good news: While Senator Ernst attacks Medicaid and downplays the loss of human life, we’re working hard to keep Georgia’s U.S. Senate seats BLUE and flip the Senate for Democrats.
