The Trump administration is waging a war to erase LGBTQ+ people from public life, starting with Trump's first hours back in office, when he ended federal recognition of transgender and nonbinary identities.1
When it comes to Pride Month, the White House has already announced it will not issue a Pride Month proclamation or host any events.2
It's not just Trump. In Congress, lawmakers are weaponizing their own bathrooms and openly misgendering colleagues. The Supreme Court recently allowed Trump's Pentagon to ban service members based on their gender identities. And across the country, MAGA politicians are rolling back LGBTQ+ protections at alarming speed.
Pride has always been about resistance—from the Stonewall Uprising to today's fight to stop the rollbacks from Trump, Congress, the Supreme Court, and MAGA bigots at all levels of government.
We will never give up fighting for the dignity of LGBTQ+ people and for our rights, freedom, and equality.
