I was proud to host this year’s 16th District U.S. Military Service Academy appointees and their families in my Peoria office to congratulate them on their incredible accomplishment.
I know this group will go on to serve our nation honorably and I wish them much success!

The Sports and Fitness Industry Association plays a critical role in the promotion of healthy lifestyles throughout our communities.
I was honored to speak at their event to emphasize the impact the FIFA World Cup 2026 will have on youth soccer participation across the country.

Visiting with Students in D.C.
Our students are the future of this country. Their visits to D.C. are critical in learning about the history of our country and the role of the federal government.
I had the opportunity to meet with eighth grade students from Metamora to discuss my responsibilities as their congressman. I look forward to their bright futures!

Learning More at Illinois Central College
It was great to visit Illinois Central College to learn more about their trade skills programs and how they’re preparing students to enter the workforce.
Thanks to President Quirk-Bailey, Mike Unes, and Derrell Carter for meeting with me. I’m grateful for their support for our community!

Meeting with the Platelet Disorders Support Association
Bleeding and clotting disorders affect countless lives throughout the 16th District and across the country.
I was honored to receive the first Platelet Disorders Support Association Award and chat with Dr. Tarantino from Peoria! I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance treatment and research to provide the care and support patients deserve.
One More Thing: Tackling the Affordable Housing Crisis
Affordable housing is critical to economic growth and a better quality of life for hardworking Americans.
The language from my Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act that is included in the reconciliation bill will address the housing crisis head on.
