Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month provides an opportunity to learn about the impact of Alzheimer's and other dementia, how to support those affected and ways to promote brain health. Throughout June, supporters wear purple, volunteer in their communities and raise awareness about the more than 55 million people worldwide who are living with Alzheimer's or another dementia.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, people living with Alzheimer's or another dementia have access to a variety of helpful resources to further their knowledge and find relevant programs, like our ALZ Talks webinars and local activities in their community. Our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) provides round-the-clock support, resources and information, while our website, alz.org, guides caregivers to educational programs and care resources — not to mention the latest updates on promising research.
