John, Christians in the Congo (DRC) are being brutalized by ISIS in ways we can't even imagine. TODAY we are taking urgent action for Christians at the U.N. ISIS-linked militants are hunting down Christians. When they abducted Déborah and demanded that she recant her faith in Jesus Christ, she refused. ISIS responded, "Then you will suffer before we kill you." Déborah sang praises to God as they stabbed and beat her mercilessly. She died days later in a hospital. ISIS then destroyed the hospital she was taken to. This is the essence of EVIL. As Christians, it's our sacred duty to take action. JUST DAYS AGO, we filed a critical written legal submission to the U.N. Human Rights Council demanding action to stop the slaughter of Christians in the Congo. Included was Déborah's harrowing story, among many others. The U.N. must be confronted with the evil being perpetrated in the name of radical Islam. We must tackle this with urgency. Our message is this: Prosecute those responsible for the mass executions, protect Christian communities from future massacres, and bring relief supplies to the area.
